Keety Roots è un artista dall'incredibile versatilità.
È infatti cantante, cantautore, musicista (polistrumentista), produttore e ingegnere del mixaggio, capace di creare un'atmosfera incredibile anche durante i suoi djset estremamente coinvolgenti.

Reale veterano della scena UK, ha lavorato nell'industria musicale negli ultimi 35 anni e fondato la sua etichetta personale "Black Legacy Records" accumulando una solida base di fan in ogni parte del mondo.
La discografia di Keety Roots inizia nel 1989, quando pubblicò il primo 7" con Tena Stelin alla voce "Warning", a cui seguirono diverse uscite tra cui l'immortale "African Blood", "Mental Slavery" ft Naphtali, "Take a look at the World" sempre con Tenastelin e anche una trilogia di 10" per la Mystic Red Corporation, oltre a produrre tonnellate di Dubplates per Aba Shanti-I. Nel corso degli anni ha lavorato con grandi icone del mondo del Reggae come Prince Alla, Linval Thompson, Tony Tuff, Carlton Livingston, Creation Stepper, Dixey Peach, Mike Brooks, Patrick Andy, Chardel Rhoden.... solo per citarne alcuni.

Più recentemente si è concentrato sulla pubblicazione di singoli in polivinile da 10 pollici in edizione limitata dei suoi dubs esclusivi. Tra il 2005 e il 2023 oltre ad esibirsi regolarmente in numerose serate e nei più importanti festival, ha pubblicato un paio di dozzine di produzioni molto apprezzate, con una enorme varietà di cantanti, nel suo stile unico ed inconfondibile.

Keety Roots is an artist of incredible versatility. He is a singer, songwriter, musician (multi-instrumentalist), producer and mixing engineer.

A real veteran of the UK scene, he has worked in the music industry for the last 35 years and founded his own label "Black Legacy Records" amassing a solid fan base all over the world.

Keety Roots discography began in 1989, when he released the first 7" with Tena Stelin on vocals "Warning", which was followed by several releases including the immortal "African Blood", "Mental Slavery" ft Naphtali, "Take a look at the World" again with Tenastelin and also a 10" trilogy with Mystic Red Corporation, as well as producing tons of Dubplates for Aba Shanti-I. He then began working with great icons of the Reggae world such as Prince Alla, Linval Thompson, Tony Tuff, Carlton Livingston, Creation Stepper, Dixey Peach, Mike Brooks, Patrick Andy, Chardel Rhoden... just to name a few.

More recently he has focused on releasing limited edition 10-inch polyvinyl singles of his exclusive dubs.
Between 2005 and 2023, in addition to performing regularly on numerous gigs and in the most important festivals, he released a couple of dozen highly appreciated productions, with a huge variety of singers, in his unique and unmistakable style.
